Noles edge Red Storm in OT thriller to advance to Sweet 16 |

The Florida State Women's basketball team defeated the Saint Johns Red Storm, 66-65, in Tallahassee on Monday night in an overtime thriller to advance to the Sweet 16 Round of the Women's NCAA Tournament.
Down by four points near the end of regulation, senior Jacinta Monroe was not ready to see her career at FSU end, as she scored the final four points to force overtime. Monroe, who led all scorers with 16 points, scored the game winner with 28.9 seconds left in overtime.
The Seminoles picked up 15 points from Alysha Harvin, and 10 each from Chasity Clayton and Alexa Deluzio.
Nadirah led Saint Johns, which was trying to reach the NCAA round of 16 for the first time in school history, with 15 points.
With the win, the Seminoles will advance to face the winner of Ohio State and Mississippi State in the NCAA round of 16.
