TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State University sophomore forward Chris Singleton has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball Defensive Player of the Year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Singleton, who helped the Seminoles to a third place finish in the ACC standings and the No. 3 seed in the 57th Annual ACC Tournament which begins Thursday, is the defensive leader of the Seminoles who are considered to be one of the top defensive teams in the nation. Singleton enters the ACC tournament ranked first in the ACC in steals (2.3 spg), fifth in blocked shots (1.5 bpg) and 11th in rebounding (7.2 rpg).
