The Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team downed the Miami Hurricanes, 71-65, on Saturday Night at the Donald Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Florida.
Florida State took a 42-40 lead when Solomon Alabi scored two points on a layup six minutes into the second half and the Seminoles would never trail in the game again. FSU led in the second frame by as many as 12 points.
Sophomore Luke Loucks scored a career-high points off the bench, which included a buzzer beater shot going into the half to give the Noles a 32-31 lead going into the half. Loucks also grabbed five rebounds and had three assists in 25 minutes of playing time.
Chris Singleton scored 10 points of his own and Alabi scored nine points.
Florida State will return to action on Wednesday, February 10th, when the Seminoles will travel to Littlejohn Coliseum to face the Clemson Tigers. |
