Here is a history that many Gator fans don't want to hear and will deny, but history is history. Florida State College in Tallahassee fielded its first ever football team in 1902 and recorded a 7-61 record for the next three seasons, which included a 3-1 record of 3-1 against rivals from the University of Florida, formerly known as Florida Agricultural College) in Lake City.

The Florida State Seminoles rallied a 29-26 win over the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday in Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday. With the win the Seminoles are now bowl eligible and will extend their nation's best bowl appearance streak to a staggering 28 seasons. Click here to read more

The Florida State Seminoles (3-4) rallied to defeat the North Carolina Tar Heels (4-3) by a score of 30-27, in Chapel Hill on Thursday Night to avoid the program's first four game losing streak since 1975.

CLEMSON, S.C. - Ninth-ranked Florida State (11-2-1, 4-1-1 ACC) got back in the win column Thursday night with a 5-1 road victory over Clemson (3-11-0, 0-6-0 ACC) at historic Riggs Field. FSU's Tiffany McCarty led the offensive attack with a career-high six points on two goals and two assists, while Jessica Price tied a career-high with two goals. |
