The Florida State Seminoles will play in the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season. The Seminoles earned a No. 9 seed and will play in the West Region. Florida State's first round game will be played on Friday, March 19 in Buffalo, N.Y. against Gonzaga.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's basketball team learned its tournament fate Monday night as the Seminoles were tabbed as the No. 3 seed in the Dayton Regional. The Seminoles will face No. 14 seed Louisiana Tech on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Civic Center.

The Florida State Softball team advanced to the championship game of the Seminole Classic when they defeated Gardner Webb twice by a score of 5-0 and 7-0 to advance to the championship game of the Seminole Classic and will face the winner of Coastal Carolina and South Dakota State on Sunday.
